A major initiative within the Center is to build a dynamic, focused resource network to enhance leadership capacity and support professional growth within South Carolina's nonprofit and grassroots service community. It proposes to do this by seeking formalized relationships with individuals and organizations to provide first-class, educational and training opportunities, technology solutions, practical research and technical assistance. Members of the Center's resource network will be proven professionals that can shape and inspire positive action to address mission-critical issues confronting these community-based organizations. The Center will act as a catalyst and organizer of talented, experienced, effective nonprofit and grassroots expertise and assist leaders in finding the kinds of resources needed to address their leadership, management, and program delivery needs. All potential Resource Associates are required to provide information to describe their product or service offerings, experience and prior successes. All information is validated for accuracy and performance is measured by Reference Questionnaires. Ongoing performance is rated by Customer Satisfaction Surveys. A Rating Scale is used to establish performance categories and service satisfaction requirements.

Resource Associates are individuals and organizations that provide comprehensive, high quality educational opportunities, services and management tools to enhance leadership and organizational capacity in the South Carolina nonprofit and grassroots services community. The Associates selected to be members of the Center's network would represent customer referenced and qualified service providers. Resource Associates will be identified by service category and description to nonprofit and grassroots organizations in a comprehensive database constructed to meet their respective service needs.

Our approach is simple, "Don't reinvent the wheel". It is not our intent to duplicate or replace the existing service or product delivery infrastructure. Our role is to identify Resource Associate product or service offerings to grassroots and nonprofit leaders to achieve our stated objectives.
